In Aweil, South Sudan, limited access to quality education has left many children and youth without the skills needed to break the cycle of poverty. Hope in Christ for Transformation (HCT) addresses this gap by supporting inclusive and community-driven education initiatives that create safe and supportive learning environments. Through education, HCT offers not only knowledge but also hope for a better future.

HCT’s education programs focus on improving access, quality, and participation. This includes supporting schools with learning materials, promoting literacy, encouraging school enrollment—especially for girls—and strengthening the capacity of teachers and school committees. By involving parents and community leaders, HCT ensures that education initiatives are locally owned and sustainable, building self-reliance within the community.

Grounded in Christian faith and values, HCT integrates moral development, life skills, and a spirit of service into its education work.
